Series of Events

Yes, I'm so glad I got my camera before this week of events. I was able to use it to basically experiment on its different functions. Got to use it last Tuesday (despedida for an officemate, PYJ); Wednesday for one of the company's annual events, "Walang Kupas Awards", for the employees who have celebrated their 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, or 30th Anniversary working in JFC. And I really got excited when I've learned, 'coz I was part of the committee, that the special guest would be the 'walang kakupas-kupas' performers, The Apo Hiking Society! Finally, Thursday was the graduation of my favorite niece. It kinda surprised me when she told me the reason why she wants me to attend this event. She said she got an honorable mention in the academics. I was shocked 'coz I often scolded her on her studying.

Honestly, the last two are one of the reasons why I decided to buy a good camera.

Before I forget, I was able to cap off my weekday with a movie premiere of "The Secret, The Movie". My officemate, Sharon, got free tickets. Before, I was thinking of buying the book each time I go to Nat'l Bookstore. But, one of Sharon's DJ friends, highly recommended this movie and it got my interest. It's in a documentary form and I must say, I'm willing to try to do the "secret". Hehehe. I guess, somehow, it affected me on how I think about things, about life...especially mine. As for the pics, I'm still in the process of choosing what to post and resizing them. They'll be surely in my photoblog and multiply sites.
