Delamar starts writing!

I just have to write about this!

I have already posted here that I'm a fan of the Chico & Delamar tandem of RX93.1's Morning Rush program.

Chico started blogging for more than a year already and it's been really a treat so far reading them. And after so long, Delamar had finally gave in and started writing! So far, she has 3 posts and the last really hit me bigtime...made me leave a comment myself that could've been a blog entry already. Here's the link of Del's entry.

Did you see and feel the similarity of the sentiments, huh? huh? huh? LOL

Haaaayyyyyyyyyy....

...i want my 'Marley'

I just watched 'Marley & Me' on DVD.

I have loved dogs ever since I was a kid. I would often get the puppies of our pets from the 'silong' of our house each time our pet would give birth and take care of them...

I have already taken care of a poodle and a spitz during my stay in Proj. 4 with my Tita Tessie's family.

I will always love and want to have dogs...It's just a matter of time...I will...Soon...

We idolize you, Mr. Francis M.

I'm no avid fan who watches his every gig whether live or on TV. I'm just a music lover. And a Filipino who recognizes what the late Francis M. had contributed not only to the music industry, but more importantly to our beloved country.

He's the modern hero. Used the power of music to convey and remind every Filipino that there's always something we can do for our country. His music might not have erased the spreading disease of the government, but still...in one way or the other, it has awaken some if not all of us.

I won't be an expert here analyzing his music. I just wanna express that I'm affected by his death.

The last two days, it has been recalled that he's been part of my and my classmates' growing up. I can remember one of my classmates/best friends, Cherry, was really infatuated with Francis. And "Cold Summer Nights" really had been a fave.

We'd sung and danced with his hits. And hearing them now sung on TV as tribute for him, singing along with them, surprised me coz my voice was cracking...that's beside the point that I'm not a good singer.

I am saddened. I am grieving for the industry with this loss.

Mr. Francis M, Idol, we'll miss you...Pls say hi to Bro for us. We love you.

bumped off

I had made plans already on how I'll spend this Saturday....today...

But my Tita Baby had other plans for us. She scheduled her lab tests, x-rays, bone-scans and already expected that I go with her. (Right now, as I am typing here, the bone scan procedure's ongoing in front of me...the last for today)...

Pls allow me to rant a little...a few days ago, we've discussed that we'd go here on a weekday...she just had to advise me the soonest so I can give notice of my leave. So I've already made plans for today...for the weekend....work quietly at the office...and then finally play in GBC where I'm already missing my friends.

Now I'm not sure how I'll manage...If I can still play later...We've arrived here in Capitol Med before 7am. And yes, I'm getting sleepy now...Only a few minutes more before Epi will expire. The signal here's not so good and I'm just trying to manage my internet usage here.

I still have to thank technology for allowing me to endure the long waiting hours here.

And I'm hoping we'll go home soon so I can still catch up what's left of Eat Bulaga where they're currently giving a tribute to Francis M., who died yesterday. :(

Northern Downpour by Panic at the Disco

If all our life is but a dream
Fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelery to the sea For diamonds do appear to be Just like broken glass to me

And then she said she can't believe
Genius only comes along
In storms of fabled foreign tongues
Tripping eyes, and flooded lungs
Northern downpour sends its love

Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down

Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weathervanes my one and lonely

The ink is running toward the page
It's chasin' off the days
Look back at boat feet
And that winding knee
I missed your skin when you were east
You clicked your heels and wished for me

Through playful lips made of yarn
That fragile Capricorn
Unraveled words like moths upon old scarves I know the world's a broken bone But melt your headaches, call it home

Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down

Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weathervanes my one and lonely
Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weathervanes my one and lonely
Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weathervanes my one and lonely

Sugarcane (hey moon) in
(Hey moon) the easy mornin'
Weathervanes (hey moon) my
(Hey moon) one and lonely

Sugarcane (hey moon) in (hey moon)
The easy (hey moon) mornin'
Weathervanes (hey moon) my (hey moon)
One (hey moon) and lonely

[Continues in background:]
Sugarcane (hey moon) in (hey moon)
The easy (hey moon) mornin'
Weathervanes (hey moon) my (hey moon)
One (hey moon) and lonely

Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down
You are at the top of my lungs
Drawn to the ones who never yawn

Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down
You are at the top of my lungs
Drawn to the ones who never yawn

I'm still waiting for my mp3 copy of this song...I really love this song!

Happy New Year!

It's the year 2009!!!

Again, was less senti compared to previous years. Kept busy with the pictures of the past events kaya no time to really reminisce on what happened since 2008 started.

Like what I've sent thru text to almost everyone last night, I wanna thank everyone for being a blessing, in your own little ways, and being part of my 2008.

Here's wishing that this new year will be full of happy moments and peace for all of us!

God bless us all! :)

being a kid again

Undas 2008

Just got back from the Loyola Memorial Park, here in Marikina.

This year's different for me dahil iba ang kasama ko, sina Mommy, Kuya Awad, Ate Loida, Elaine, Rissa, and Izer. The past years kasi, syempre ang nakasama ko eh ang mga Auntie Tessie.

First time ko syang makasama sa sementeryo at buti na lamang, good mood sya.

This time of the year's really another time for families to spend time together, quality time pa. Well, di ko naman din alam how other countries celebrate All Soul's Day nor if indeed they have this kind of celebration.

***kilig moments***

Was I able to mention here that I always try not to miss Chico and Delamar's Morning Rush over the radio (RX93.1, 6-9am)?

What makes it more fun listening to them is their hourly Top 10 topics. This segment highlights their sense of humor whatever topic they have for the day.

But, wait, I don't mean to talk about their sense of humor right now. LOL. Their topic for today made me think. And made me miss feeling sooooo kilig. I really do miss being so kilig...

Haaaayyyy....can't describe how much I miss it...

The Man Who Can't Be Moved

------------------------------------------------------------
by The Script
------------------------------------------------------------

Going back to the corner where I first saw you,
Gonna camp in my sleeping bag not
I'm not gonna move,
Got some words on cardboard got your picture in my hand,
Saying if you see this girl can you tell her where I am,
Some try to hand me money they don't understand,
I'm not... broke I'm just a broken hearted man, I know it makes no sense,
but what else can I do, How can I move on when I'm still in love with you...

Cos if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me,
And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I can be,
Thinking maybe you'd come back here to the place that we'd meet,
And you'd see me waiting for you on the corner of the street.

So I'm not moving...
I'm not moving.

Policeman says son you can't stay here,
I said there's someone I'm waiting for if it's a day, a month, a year,
Gotta stand my ground even if it rains or snows,
If she changes her mind this is the first place she will go.

Coz if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me,
And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I can be,
Thinking maybe you'd come back here to the place that we'd meet,
And you'd see me waiting for you on the corner of the street.

So I'm not moving...
I'm not moving.

I'm not moving...
I'm not moving.

People talk about the guy
Whos waiting on a girl...
Oohoohwoo
There on no hole in his shoes
But a big hole in his world...
Hmmmm

Maybe I'll get famous as man who can't be moved,
And maybe you won't mean to but you'll see me on the news,
And you'll come running to the corner...
Cos you'll know it's just for you

I'm the man who can't be moved
I'm the man who can't be moved...

I'm not moving...
I'm not moving.

Going back to the corner where I first saw you,
Gonna camp in my sleeping bag not I'm not gonna move.

*blank*

My mind, that is. I know I have a lot of things to say ('coz there are really lots of things in my mind lately), but I just couldn't start.

It still seems that I'm making myself an outcast on so many things. *Sigh*

Hope I can post something with more sense soon...

So long...
