Christmas 2007

The more Christmas Day 2007 gets closer, the more I feel na it's gonna be a lonely one. Incomparable like the previous years.

First, was learning that the kids won't be coming here to celebrate with us on Christmas day. My annual tradition of posting their pics might be broken. I'll miss them. I'm not quite sure if they'll miss me....hehehe...i'm hoping they would.

Second, I still don't know how to spend the day. Right now, I'm just in the mood of staying at home. I don't know why I still don't have or why I can't think of an innovative way of spending it. I thought of going out with a few people, but, they suddenly have other plans pala.

Looks like it'll be a quiet Christmas day after all. Not bad naman. Still looking forward to the solitude.

Holiday Blues

I'm on the verge of panicking for next week's festivities.

For the first time after a few years of having this tradition, I wasn't able to take a leave from work to dedicate one day for shopping gifts for "almost" everyone. :( It used to work for me coz i usually get good gifts for those who're in my list. Even if i was alone in doing so, i've enjoyed it coz i didn't go home brokenhearted/frustrated.

I also wasn't able to go to Divisoria.

Now, I really have to cram.

Although i'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, we won't have our annual family celebration on Christmas Day. We usually have lunch in my aunt's house (where i'm staying right now), where the Gatchalian kids would come and then I'll enjoy their company, playing with them, teasing them, making them cry, etc. LOL. Instead of having this tradition on the 25th, they decided to have it on the 30th. It's kinda good for me for i'll have more time to buy gifts for the kids. And also kinda sad for I'm not sure how I'll celebrate my 25th, where I'll be or what to do. So far, I can only think of sleeping it off...As the saying goes, "bahala na si batman!"

Another thing, being in senti mode's getting nearer once again. *sigh*

a gym-freak wannabe

Looks like I have to be a gym-freak from now on. LOL

Since I've gained weight already and am now irritated with the fats that I see hanging around everyday, I've finally decided to enroll myself in Fitness First. Of course, their promo helped a lot to convince me.

So far, I've already went there twice and it's all good. I'm psyching myself since last week that I can do this regularly and religiously so as not to waste my upcoming monthly fees.

I'm thinking of different ways of motivating myself and so far, so good. I'm determined to make this work and not put my money and time into waste.

So, help me God. :pray:
